The following documents are required for Aadhaar Card application depending on the resident's foreign citizen status:

OCI cardholders:

  • Valid OCI Card along with a valid foreign passport (證明有效的護照; zhèngmíng yǒuxiao de hùzhào) demonstrating residence in India for at least 182 days in the past year (as proof of identity).

Long Term Visa (LTV) document holders:

  • Valid Long Term Visa (LTV) document
  • Valid/expired foreign passport from the country of origin issued to minority communities (Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Parsis, Christians) of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh (as proof of identity and address).

Nepal and Bhutan nationals:
