(Current Price - Opening Price) ÷ Opening Price × 100. 

Since the opening price is higher than the closing price for losers, the result is negative, indicating a drop in value. An increase in NSE Losers often signals a declining NIFTY index, whereas fewer Losers suggest market growth.
