A PAN card Gazetted form, also known as Form 49A, is used for applying for a new PAN card or making corrections to an existing one. This form requires certification by a Gazetted officer or a magistrate to validate the applicant’s identity and address. The certification is especially important for those who do not possess the standard documents required for a PAN card application. The form can be filled out either online or offline, and it ensures that the applicant's details are authenticated by a government authority, thus adding an extra layer of verification.
