PMAY Gramin beneficiary list

The Central Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana in 2016 with the intent to provide quality housing for all by 2022. Under this scheme, the government plans to construct Pucca houses with basic amenities for those currently staying in Kucha houses. As of 2021, the government had built 1.6 Crores Pucca houses under the scheme.

Under PMAY G, the cost of building homes is shared by the state and central government at the rate of 40:60. However, in the case of north-eastern states, Himalayan states, and the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir, the cost of building homes is shared between state and central government in the ratio of 10:90, and in the case of UT of Ladakh, 100% financing comes from the centre.

So, how does the central government decide who benefits from the scheme? It does so by considering socio-economic and caste census (SECC) data. The benefits are disbursed directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries.

How can one check the PMAY Gramin beneficiary list online?

As mentioned before, the beneficiaries under the PMAY-G scheme are selected based on the socio-economic and caste census (SECC) data. Here's how one can check the beneficiary list in PMAY G.

  • Go to the official website of PMAY-G and select the option 'Reports'. Under reports, select Awaassoft
  • Next, under 'social audit reports,' click on the option beneficiary details
  • On the next page, select the year, scheme to which you have applied, state, district, block, and panchayat

Once you have entered all the details, you will get the PMAY Gramin list. In this list, you can check details, such as your name, the house you have been allotted, the sanction number, the installments that you have already paid, and the amount released under PMAY-G. You can also download the list in excel and PDF format.
